Meet jennifer.

Jennifer Andersen is Founder of Jen Andersen Development, based in Hollywood, MD. She provides coaching and training focused on leadership and personal development, communication, and team development.  Her greatest strength and joy is working with emerging and new leaders helping to build their skills and confidence as they begin their leadership journeys.

Jennifer brings conscientious and forward-thinking approaches to the solutions she provides, and clients appreciate her high energy, interactive presentations and her intuitive and supportive coaching.

Jennifer has over two decades’ experience training, coaching, and developing teams and leaders in various sectors including the federal government, private sector, direct sales industry, education, and non-profit groups.   Her clients include NAVAIR, numerous government contractors, law groups, banks and credit unions, county government agencies, and more!

Jen was a high-school English teacher before entering the direct sales industry where she built and led a multi-million-dollar team recognized for its leadership development.  After investing heavily in her own leadership development, Jen established her training and coaching practice serving leaders and teams working to strengthen their inter- and intrapersonal skills and improve their workplace culture. 

Jennifer holds professional coaching certification through iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching).  She holds PCC Credentials (over 125 hours of training and over 500 hours of coaching experience) through the ICF (International Coach Federation).  She facilitates Appreciative Inquiry and is a Myers- Briggs Master Practitioner, EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Intelligence) administrator, Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, and COR.E Dynamics Leadership and Transitions Specialist.  Her degrees are a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English with Secondary Education and Master of Science (MS) in Curriculum and Instruction with Supervision Certification.

Jen resides in Hollywood, MD with her husband, Adam, and four children Aidan, Ryan, Karianna, and Jayce.
